Suppose I’d better start my first news post with the one that will affect most Xbox Owners. Halo. The biggest Gun in Microsoft’s arsenal and the one game always slated to kill the PS3 launch. News has reached Gamespot that Halo 3 might not actually be a Sequel. Chances are Halo 3 will be a prequel to CE. This is bound to irritate countless fans who want a proper ending to Halo 2. Dubbed ‘The Forerunners’ details are still sketchy, other than 4 player Co-op mode. I’ll try to keep you guys informed as more news reaches my finely tuned ears.
Sony have announced in the last week that the Playstation 3, the long awaited next gen console from the electronic giants, will not be available until November this year at best. This could be the thorn in Sony's side, giving the Xbox 360 chance to settle in to the market comfortably, with no real market contenders.
Ubisoft are reported to be working on fixing the problems with the servers and lag in their latest release GR:AW. The current lagging and booting problems most players have had a reminiscent of those seen in Ghost Recon: Summit Strike. It also poses the question, if they knew the bug was there in SS, why wasn't it fixed for AW?
Gaming Giants, Electronic Arts, have this week released 'The Godfather,' for xbox360 and PS2. Have the giants done them selves proud? EA's slowly ever building reputation for half-finished games, and poor online service are beginning to affect profit and growth. The games giant MUST get this one right in order to restore faith in it's players.
